Montauto is of our family for nearly sixty years. My grandfather farmed vineyards, but in 2002 I decided to change my life, after graduating in economics and business, I started a project of winemaking. Working by the side of the winemaker we realized that due to the composition of our soils (clay rich in rocks such as quartz ), an excellent exposition, close to the sea-side with the presence of sea breezes which are ideal for the production of great white wines . Our management has always been Ecological, our harvest is manual. We mechanically work the vineyards and remove the grass by hand. Great attention is placed on bringing cleanliness, freshness and minerality in our wines. Elegance and drinkability are essential to our wines.

Here, nature reigns supreme. It screeches with the hawk, whistles with the owl, rustles with the leaves of the forest, grapevines and olive trees, in the wind of the sea of Capalbio and on the red earth of Montauto.
